Sunday Night Crafting

Just a quickie post on some crafting done over a days span.

So right off a little tag made simply because I found a strip of thing chipboard or packaging. I am actually not sure what it was from but it was the perfect size to make this folded up pocket tag.

Made using Faber-Castells design~memory~craft line's Gellatos and gesso for the base. I painted on the gesso over the embossed tag. I embossed the tag using a Tim Holtz Sizzix Embossing folder. Beaded Garland. I then stamped it with a little $1 bin stamp from Michaels. Added some $1.50 bin flowers from Michaels that I spackled with gesso and added this cute little lady bug from my stash.
Attached some scrap ribbons and all done.

This was just a picture I took at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve that I finally got to edit....just wanted to share it. The flowers are so pretty.
Next a what I call doodle painting...just a quick picture I painted using Gellatos again so I could play with color and my New Gellatos...lol. I drew on the gellatos, rubbed them and wet them. I added some Glass Bead medium to the sun then covered it all in Gel Medium.
Oh this one was " FUN" lol Made this one with my son the other night when he could sleep all of a sudden. We used the bottom of the box that held these Faber Castell Gel sticks, similar to Gellatos but for kids. First we scribbled on a few colors to the base and then used a wet paint brush to spread the color. Next we mixed up two colors of Gellatos with some Gesso and used a palate knife to spread it on the box. Attached some vinyl stickers and smashed them into the painted areas...all done.

Oh last my 40 minute hot air balloon mobile I made for my son's room. But I think I will tweak this one some more first before hanging it. It was made from a file on my Cricut Explore and used Echo Parks Little Boy Boarders paper Item # LB8007

Well that was my Sunday Night/Monday crazy early Morning.  How was yours??
