Rose Azure Altered Clock

OH my gosh too excited about how this clock came out...

It was made using the Tim Holtz Alterable Clock kit. But I only used the clock from the kit.
Papers all came from the Rose Azure Journal Kit by Tsunami Rose. All printed on a standard letter sized card stock with the exception of the little quote which was printed on a 4x6 photo paper. So I can get the quote smaller. Which is why I love that this kit is printable. All the gorgeous colors on these papers are so fantastic to work with.

The clock was painted using Americana Decor Chalky paint in Vintage, CraftSmart paint in Neon Pink, Tim Holtz Distress paint in Broken China and  the rusted out look is using Tim Holtz Distress ink in Rusty Hinge.

I used DreamWeaver Embossing paste on the inside of the clock covered it in Liquitex Glazing Medium to give it a nice glazed water look. I sprinkled Elizabeth craft designs Silk Microfine Glitter in Cool Diamond on the paste/Glaze and added clear micro beads mixed in. All to look like water on the bottom of the clock and on the picture.

I added some Liquitex Acrylic Gesso to the flowers to tone them down a bit. Glued in some Spanish Moss under the bells. I used Heavy Gel Medium (Liquitex) to apply all the paper to the surround of the clock and the paper on the the inside as well.

Added some small flowers and vine to the outside around the clock. All flowers were from the Ashland Spring Bushes at Michaels. And yes they were paper.
Love the little quote I printed and added to the right bell. The Journal kit comes with a full page of sentiments and quotes.

Here you can see the lovely picture on the inside of the clock. I used glaze over the whole thing to give it a crystal like look. Love these acrylic flowers I received for my birthday.  On the lower left you can see some Flower Soft  in Earth to look like well dirt.

I really love how the rust came out. I know I am weird but I think it's neat looking.

Hope you enjoyed and grab this collection or yourself.
