Baby Card-Gender Neutral

So I am addicted to swaps. I am sure many of us are. If your not familiar with swaps basically everyone sends in one element from a theme to one person. That person then sorts all the items sent in and sends one whole kit from all the elements to each person who sent something in. And you end up with a kit. Or you end up with a partner and you send it directly to your partner and them to you.

Well this last swap was a card kit swap and I received a baby theme set. So here is what I came up with.
I also still have lots of extras left over to make more cards.

Here is the inside of the card.

I colored the bunny and the card base with chalk as well as the inside card tinting. I also used Tim Holtz Adirondack Alcohol Ink Pearl Mixative to add a little pearl shine to the card. And I used Distress Ink in Peeled Paint on the center green layer of the card along with the Pearl Mixative. And I used a bronze color ink pad to rub over the embossed layer. I used a little dot of Perfect Medium from a pen on the cheeks and nose of the bunny to get a bolder pink from the chalk. Oh I also used the Chalk to make the heart yellow. That is all for coloring.

To accent the cards I cut around them using a scissor edger and added some bronze ink to those edges as well.

Below you can see what I still have left from the swap kit I received and see what some of the elements looked like before I messed with them...lol. As you can see I had lots to choose from. And there is actually some missing because my kids kept running off with some of the pieces. One being another little fuzzy heart which the one I have on the card was originally white.
Now remember if you ever have a question about a technique I used or anything at all just ask. Leave a comment or email me.
