DCWV Halloween Night Banner

Hi Monique Leslie, Misfit Crafter here to bring you my DCWV Design Team Project!

I am loving how simple this was to make and how cute it turned out.
I made this cute little banner to complete my buffet decorations.

I used the DCWV Halloween Nights 6x6 mini stack and used Mod Podge to glue on to this wooden pre-cut halloween banner pieces I got from Michaels Stores. I then inked up the edges using Brutus Monroe Premium Chalk in in Locomotive to ink up the edges, strung it on some twine and added some cute little felt stickers from Creatology from Michaels.

Hope you like...if you do don't for get to let me know in the comments below.

DCWV Stack A Holic Challenge for October

So if you have not heard by now DCWV has a Stack a Holic Sketch Challenge every month.
All you have to do is use one of the two sketches provided (1 layout, 1 card) and use it as inspiration to create a layout or card...or like in my case I created a canvas Mixed Media piece.
You can get full information on how to enter on the DCWV Blog.
So here is my creation using the layout sketch.
It's an 8" x 8" canvas painted with Martha Stewart Copper Metallic Paint.
Here is the sketch

A bit of a close Up!

The stack I used in this creation is the Autumn Leaves Mini Stack (6" x 6")
The papers in this stack are double sided and gorgeous!

Halloween Night Countdown Frame

Monique, Misfit Crafter here bringing you this fun Halloween Night Countdown Frame.
It was so fun and easy to make.

I used the DCWV Chalk 6" x 6" paper pad and
the New Halloween Nights Paper Pad, available at Joann's!
For a full list of supplies see the end of this post.
12x12 Halloween Stack
To make this cute little frame all you have to do is take a simple $1 wood frame and color the sides, I used an ink pad to do this then sprayed it with a Brutus Monroe Liquid Elements spray to give it some sparkle. Next Mod Podge on some papers to your liking. I used the backer board from the frame to use as a template to cut out a piece of the chalk board paper. And then Glued the chalk paper to the backer board and put it back in the frame. This will make it a chalkboard to wipe and re-write the days to countdown. I added a little bat charm to complete the look. And a bit of glitter.
